I spent an excellent time here, couldn't recommend more to anyone. Amicable staff, air-conditioned room, in general I liked this deluxe hotel. My room included an air conditioning, a very good WiFi, and a high ceiling. The property was in an incredible and wonderful location near a good area and historic district...

It had quiet atmosphere and everything was perfect. Big and modern room and exceptionally comfortable bed, we had a good rest. It was in a magnificent and fantastic location around 4-6 minutes walk from a century castle.

Classic location in the heart of the city with stunning views and an amazing atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff/owner was incredibly fun, full of insightful knowledge about the city. Breakfast was mind-blowing, with a wide variety of delicious food including homemade cakes and freshly squeezed juices. The B&B's attention to detail and accommodating nature were jaw-dropping. From the comfortable bed to the helpful recommendations, our stay was absolutely superb. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The decor was tasteful and elegant, with beautiful antique furniture and art pieces. The common areas were well-maintained and offered plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with clear signage and wide corridors that were easy to navigate. The staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful, always there to assist me with any needs or questions I had.
I only wish that there had been more options for activities specifically tailored for senior guests.

Immersed in the heart of historical center, surrounded by amazing monuments and charming markets. Paul and Anna personally provide a friendly and warm atmosphere. Stop-over at a local firm producing delicious Sicilian products. Cons: Oh, I just love hearing my neighbors through the old building walls! Not.

The Liccu in Catania is a truly magical place to stay. The 1800's building has been beautifully updated, showcasing a perfect blend of historical charm and modern comforts. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's decoration to be elegant and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the B&B were well-maintained, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing.
For a better vacation experience for senior people, I would have appreciated having an elevator at the Liccu . While the children working there were more than willing to help with carrying luggage, an elevator would have made it easier for elderly guests to navigate the building.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
